Content Management Systems (CMS)

Buying a Web CMS is like buying a new Mercedes. You buy the bones of the car, but don’t forget to budget for the extras. Leather upholstery and built-in GPS? None of them are included in the asking price. So too with Web CMS. Many vendors’ business model is now to sell customers a basic product, and charge extra for additional modules.

Get a COMPLETE Content Management System, and get it right the first time! We're not here to get you in the door and then surprise you with extras fees. That's just bad business. We want to optimize your business and put technology to work for you - solution that actually saves you money and eliminates IT involvement! Our CMS solutions are intuitive, requiring virtually no training for an admin person to start using and maintaining a website or storefront. Our CMS is also custom coded, allowing for flexibility to meet your business needs instead of having to model your business after the capabilities of your CMS technology. And when we build a CMS, we do it right. We tell you up front the features we're pretty sure will be important to you, and include all of those into the quote right up front. That way we have a true understanding of your needs and you have expectations set to where there are no surprises. It's just the right way to do business...

Use Caution When Selecting a CMS Tool

There are many CMS tools out there to choose from. Some good, some bad. Some expensive, some dirt cheap. So how do you know what CMS is right for your needs?

A couple of things to consider:

  1. Is your CMS Search Engine Friendly?
Many times people get on board with a CMS system, get all set up, and realize they're not getting the kind of traffic they had hoped on their site. Many CMS systems use javascript to create the navigation. This really hurts you when search engines want to scan your site. They simply can't effectively follow javascript, and your site get's left behind. Our CMS systems NEVER use javascript to create navigation, and if you want, we even have ways of building Search Engine Optimization into the CMS so all you have to do is enter your content and the search engines will not only find it, but truly consume it.

  2. Do you have the flexibility to modify the CMS to meet your business needs?
Automating a process is great. Getting all of your content in a CMS facilitates this type of automation. But what happens when your company suddenly realizes they need the present their information in a slightly different way - a way the CMS is not able to do? With an out of the box solution you may find yourself in a pickle. With our custom coded CMS solutions you can rest easy knowing we have the flexibility and capability to adapt to your business needs.

  3. Is the cost of the CMS solution going to save you money in the long run?
Some CMS systems can run hundreds of thousands of dollars. While this makes sense for some companies, it may not for yours. Don't be up sold into something you don't need. The whole point of moving into a CMS is to alleviate the additional costs of having an actual person manually update your content. We have affordable solutions that meet the needs to an estimated 95% of the companies out there that require a Content Management System.
